About Productive AV

From our founding in 2010 to our recent inclusion in the Inc 5000 list, we at Productive AV have had one primary mission: to positively impact the lives of those around us. The best way that we have found to accomplish this is to provide design, installation, service, and rental of technology systems that are simple to use, reliable in operation, and a complete solution for the task at hand. Headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, with offices across the nation, we aide organizations of all types and sizes meet their technological needs.

MEET OUR TEAM

Juan BialetCEO
Juan Bialet has 22 years of experience in the technology industry. He attended Liberty University and is a graduate of the James Madison University College of Business, Management of Technology, and is a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) issued by InfoComm, the world’s leading technology, and audio-video standards organization. During his career, he has designed, engineered, and managed installations of all sizes for the public and private sector. Juan’s breadth of knowledge comes from the experience of a variety of installations including government offices, houses of worship, executive conference rooms, theatrical spaces, gymnasiums, and medical facilities. Juan is passionate about technology and providing the best solution for clients.
Kevin PooleCOO
Kevin has been in the production industry since 2001. He has served as a Front of House, Monitors, and Broadcast Audio Engineer for more than 20 years in Houses of Worship and touring markets. He has also developed a specialty in high-speed motor automation for live production.
Kevin had the opportunity to work internationally on television projects such as Eurovision in Portugal, T-Mall Gala in Shanghai, and the JSTV New Year’s Eve show in Macau seen by more than 800 million viewers. He’s worked for corporate clients such as Boeing, Freightliner, Chevrolet, Fortnite, and Amazon. He has toured with artists such as the Steve Miller Band, Janet Jackson, and Fall Out Boy, and worked regionally with many others. Kevin served on staff at Liberty University as Director of Audio and adjunct professor. Kevin is a graduate of Liberty University and holds a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. in Strategic Leadership and is near completion of CTS certifications and has completed certifications with Audinate Dante, QSC Qsys. Kevin has professional user experience with Yamaha, Midas, JBL, Nexo, Allen & Heath, d&b, Meyer, Wireless frequency coordination, Pro Tools, Digital Performer, timecode workflows, as well as many other professionals and enterprise-grade production equipment.
David DiamondCTO
David has been in the AV industry for 22 years. He attended and led the AV engineering team at Liberty University. There he was able to design high-end systems from cinematic edit suites to stadiums. David has also been a leader in the entertainment industry. Most recently he was an associate designer and audio designer for the Fortnite World Cup. David has also toured with artists such as Drake, Beyonce, The Killers, Criss Angel, James Taylor, Backstreet Boys, and many more. He joined the PAV team in September 2019 and has been instrumental in growing the engineering team and providing simple, reliable, solutions. David has been a professional user with MA Lighting, Yamaha, Digico, ETC, d&b, JBL, Meyer, Pathway, Cisco, Crestron, along with many others.
PJ VisserCPO
PJ Visser has been in the entertainment industry for more than a decade. He has managed projects for artists internationally. Most recently, PJ managed Cybermotion US Rental, which supplied automation to national and international tours such as Madonna, Ricky Martin, Paul McCartney, The Killers, Kanye West, Nine Inch Nails, and many others. He is gifted at logistics planning in highly complex environments.
Ryan LewisEngineer
Ryan Lewis comes from a long history of engineering expertise. Needless to say, We are thrilled to have him on our team. He has toured extensively throughout the globe in various capacities with A-level clients such as: The Dave Matthews Band, Kenny Chesney, Sam Hunt, Needtobreathe, TobyMac, Amy Grant, Gungor, Michael W Smith, Nine Inch Nails, Puff Daddy and corporate clients such as Beth Moore and Women of Faith. With 12 years of intensive experience, Ryan implements the sound design created in drawings and oversees the alignment and optimization of that system in the actual environment. He also provides follow-up services for existing PAV installs by re-tuning, troubleshooting, and repair recommendations of audio issues.

His software knowledge and certifications include but are not limited to: Dante Level 3, QSys Level 1, Shure Integrated Systems Level 2, d&b SL/J/V/Y training certification, Biamp certified, BSS Soundweb/London Architect, Meyer Sound system optimization, JBL VTX, SMAART v7 and v8, Yamaha PM Series , DiGiCo Masters Series, Avid VENUE Series training, and Lake Processing LM Series training. Ryan loves teaching and training the tools and knowledge he has acquired over the course of his career.

Brian ChetelatDirector of Physical Security
With 25 years of experience and the ability to carry on a conversation with anyone, Brian is our go to Sales lead and technical guru when it comes to all things Physical Security. As our Compliance Manager for Department of Criminal Justice, he keeps us on the right path and pushes us to find new technologies to help keep people safe and secure despite evolving challenges. Having done work with the Department of Defense, police departments, hospitals, churches, corporations, and individuals, Brian brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.
Daniel AlbertEngineer
Daniel comes with 24 years of experience in Professional Audio, a degree from Full Sail University, and a quick-witted sense of humor that can bring life to even the dullest of technical conversations. From conceptual design to final CAD documents for construction, Daniel delivers the goods with ninja-like precision. Having worked as an Engineer and Technician in Higher-Ed, House of Worship, Sports, Government, and corporate environments, Daniel can easily identify the short term and long term needs of any project.
